Little Stars
- Monday 4.15pm, Tuesday 4.15pm, Thursday 4.15pm, Friday 4.15pm, Saturday 9.30am
Our Little Stars mixed style karate class are perfect for children aged 4-7 years old. In these classes we follow a syllabus that concentrates on balance, co-ordination, teamwork, and helping one another. It is in this class that our youngest students learn the basics of martial arts but at an age appropriate level.
Our Little Stars are always smiling, having lots of fun whilst gaining life skills of confidence, discipline and respect.
My son has been training in martial arts with Niko for 8 years since the age of 4. I can honestly say that the biggest impact on him has been the positivity and confidence that Niko places at the heart of all his teaching. This is not simply self defence, it is self improvement.

Rising Stars
- Tuesday 5pm, Friday 5pm, Saturday 9.30am
Our Rising Stars classes are aimed at beginners aged 7-12 years old.
In these classes we concentrate on the foundations of martial arts as our students begin following their very own mixed style karate syllabus.
The focus is on being healthy, looking out for one another, respect, focus, flexibility, co-ordination.
Our Rising Stars have plenty of fun whilst making new friends and gaining confidence, discipline and respect.
Elite Stars
- Monday 5pm, Saturday 10.30am
Our Elite Stars classes are aimed advanced students aged 7-12 years old.
In these classes we concentrate on perfecting the skills we know, understanding what they mean and why we use them, and ultimately working towards that prestigious black belt standard.
The Elite Stars classes are much more advanced, whilst remaining fun with a focus on discipline, respect, helping each other and gaining confidence.
Niko has a real gift for engaging with children to bring out the best in them. My two love it so much they go 3 times a week. Niko focuses not only on skills and achievement but also on self-confidence, self-discipline, positivity and respect for others and yourself.

Sparing Class
- Tuesday 5pm (7-11), Friday 7.45pm (adult only)
Our Sparing classes allow students to learn how to spar safely with a focus on distance and timing, great for putting the skills we have worked on into practice in a safe and controlled environment.
Future Stars
- Tuesday 6pm, Thursday 6pm, Saturday 10.30am
Our Future Stars classes focuses on giving our students more responsibility and taking their training to the next level whilst having fun and gaining confidence.
This class focuses on more advanced martial arts but also on being a good role model both in and out of the dojo, keeping healthy, keeping safe, respecting ourselves and others.
Sessions are always fun, well organised and diverse. Niko has an amazing ability to capture and keep children's attention. He knows how to adapt his teaching to make sure everyone is paying attention and keeping up to speed.
Gemma
Family Classes
- Saturday 9.30am
Our mixed style karate Family Classes are the perfect way for parents and children to train together.
The focus is on creating a fun and energetic atmosphere, allowing families to bond over a shared love of martial arts whilst getting fit.
This is the perfect opportunity to spend some quality time with your children whilst both working towards a shared goal.
Adults Karate
- Tuesday 7pm, Saturday 10.30am
Many of our parents see how valuable training in martial arts has been to their children and end up joining our academy as adult students!
In our adult classes we focus on creating a positive and energetic environment whilst allowing each student to follow their own syllabus meaning every student develops in their own time with the opportunity to learn various styles such as karate, kickboxing, k1, boxing and clinch work. There is a focus on stamina, fitness, technique but more importantly self-confidence and self-belief.
Adults kickboxing / k1
- Monday 7pm, Friday 7pm
Our Adult Kickboxing classes focus on foot work, distance, pad drills and shield work.
Kickboxing is a fantastic way to get fit whilst having fun. It is a great way to learn self-defence whilst building your confidence.
Ladies only kickboxing & fitness course
- Tuesday 8pm, Thursday 8pm
Introducing our exclusive six-week ladies-only kickboxing & fitness course, led by a fantastic female instructor who’s dedicated to helping you become the best version of yourself! This dynamic program is designed not only to improve your fitness levels but also boost your self-confidence to new heights.
Through two classes per week, you’ll learn a range of kickboxing techniques and exercises that will challenge your body and mind in the best possible way. And the best part? You don’t need any prior martial arts experience! Our expert instructor will guide you through each step of the way, ensuring that you feel comfortable and confident as you progress.
But it’s not just about physical fitness. Our kickboxing course is also a great way to improve your mental strength and resilience. As you push yourself to new limits and learn new skills, you’ll develop a sense of confidence and empowerment that will spill over into all areas of your life.

I have never considered martial arts as something I would ever be interested in until I saw an advert for a beginners 6 week ladies only kickboxing class starting in January. I thought I'd give it a go but wasn't really confident it would be something that a) I'd enjoy and b) I'd be any good at. But how wrong I was... I've got fitter, lost 10lb in 5 weeks, and really look forward to our sessions.
